A creative studio for artists.

Pretty Thing was founded in 2018 by writer Myah Hollis and producer Sarah Hawkins. The duo met while living in Philly and reunited in LA, where they produced digital content together for three years before launching their own creative studio.

During the first year, PT operated as a branding agency, helping female-founded companies hone their voice and develop their aesthetic with their signature LOLA method.

Within their community of female artists and entrepreneurs, Sarah and Myah began to notice a strong desire for transparent conversations and actionable advice on how to achieve success in creative industries.

Pretty Thing Tour, their multi-city event series, launched in 2019, gathering over 30 speakers and 200+ women in NYC and LA for a full day of panels, workshops, and keynotes on creativity, business, and women’s issues.

In Summer 2020, PT created V Busy, a curated newsletter for women, like themselves, who are secretly struggling with the most basic aspects of adult life. V Busy takes a self-aware and satirical approach to anxiety, providing resources to help you feel less overwhelmed and art to keep you inspired.
